1982's Blade Runner has been a pioneer in the Cyberpunk genre's aesthetic requisite. The movie starring Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard focuses on an ex-policeman turned special agent hunting a group of androids in the future and his journey to finding his own identity.
The movie is widely popular amongst cyberpunk geeks and widely regarded as inspiration for many movies and games in the past few years. CD Projekt Red's CyberPunk 2077 has taken heavy inspiration from Blade Runner and its city wide aesthetic has Blade Runner written all over it.
The 2017's Blade Runner 2049 ties in with 1982's Blade Runner with the story of K who's in search of a missing Blade Runner. This movie lives up to the standard of its predecessor in every aspect.
The YouTube channel The Beauty Of has two video that show the whole aesthetic viewpoint of Blade Runner series. The videos are linked to this thread!
